Having a Place to Go is Home.
Having Someone to Love is Family.
Having Both is a Blessing.
A Place Called Home has a Three-Fold Purpose.
·
First, to be a voice for the
3 million children in America that are either homeless, in foster care, or are
waiting for a forever family through adoption. This number does not include the
number of children who have aged out of "the system" before finding a forever
family and sent out on the streets with $200 in their pockets. Nor does this
include the number of young un-wed mothers who have been punished for their
choices by being thrown out. First,

Secondly, to be a support
system for those families that have taken on the wonderful task of fulfilling
the needs of these unique kids, whether it be Monetarily, Spiritually,
Emotionally, or Physically, it is the hope of APCHM to meet the needs of these
families at any given moment.
·
Thirdly, to create a ranch/ camp for
200+ children at a time that fall into these categories. We believe that this
camp would provide hope, refuge, love and ultimately "a place to call home" for
those hurting and in need. Every child, every young adult, every grown up
deserves love AND A PLACE TO CALL HOME.
